Background

The IT Service Desk is responsible for second line support, account management, the client's client platform and applications, as well as the client's internal incident coordination during critical IT events, among other things. They also have external first line support to assist and take responsibility. The walk-in desk at the office is also included, along with some support at other offices in the region.

The Assignment

The assignment mainly consists of:

  • Supporting both the external 1st line and colleagues when they need help on-site
  • Writing and editing knowledge articles, procedures, and instructions, etc.
  • Being part of the client's flexible working methods and working within the rolling schedule for the different parts that occur within a service desk, including the client's walk-in desk.
  • They also have other technical support related to IT on board vehicles that may become relevant
  • Supporting both PC and Mac users.
  • Account management
  • Participating in incident coordination

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in support for both 1st and 2nd line
  • Worked according to the ITIL framework (certification is not required)
  • Knowledge of Windows 11, Intune, and Azure
  • Knowledge of PC/Mac environments
  • Knowledge of Android and iPhone
  • Very good Swedish in speech and writing
  • Experience documenting in an educational manner (e.g., knowledge articles, procedures, and instructions)
  • Experience working in ticketing systems, experience with ServiceNow is desirable
  • Have worked with incident coordination
  • It is an advantage if the consultant has good knowledge of public operations with IT management and IT security.
